How does one do 2 Timothy 3:5 have nothing to do with them. How do you do this and share the Gospel?

Pilgrim:
2nd Timothy 3: 1- 8 (New King James)
1: But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come.
2: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, unholy,
3: unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,
4: traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5: having a form of godliness but denying its power.  And from such people turn away!
6: For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, lead away by various lusts,
7: always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8: Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith;

Now that Christ has ascended we are in the last days, awaiting His return.  This time is perilous because this is the last chance for those living to accept Christ.  Those who died before Christ came will have the chance after they died to accept Christ, but those who die after Christ has ascended, rejecting Him and his offer of salvation are lost. There is not another chance at His next coming.  As no one knows the day or time that they could die, every second outside of a saving relationship with Christ is a perilous second.  All of these traits of  vs. 1- 4 can be seen of men today and throughout history.  So this does not speak of a behavior of men in a time to come, but to the nature of mans heart without God at any place in time.

“But know this” in vs. 1 refers back to the “those” of 2nd Timothy 2:25
25: in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth,
Those who are in opposition are those to avoid from 2nd Timothy 2:23
23: But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife.
The disputes are from those of 2nd Timothy 2:19
19: Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His”, and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
and again in 2nd Timothy 2:22
22: Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
So verse 5 of 2nd Timothy Chapter 3 sums up who to turn away from.  “having a form of godliness but denying its power (Christ)”.
Verse 8 of 2nd Timothy Chapter 3 “resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth (Christ)”
Verse 25 of 2nd Timothy Chapter 2, Those in opposition of (Christ) needing repentance from God that they may know the truth (Christ)
Verse 22 of 2nd Timothy Chapter 2, Youthful lusts, named in Chapter 3: 1- 4.
In conclusion, those who live opposed to God, His Word and Christ, after being taught of Him yet never repenting, obeying to depart from those youthful lusts, that do not depart from iniquity, (vs 1-4), yet they claim to be Christians. As indicated by vs. 6-8.  These are those who would call themselves christians yet prey on the body, they have not escaped the snare (youthful lusts, iniquity, rebellion, opposition to the truth) of the devil, of Vs. 26 of 2nd Timothy Chapter 2, having been taken captive by him to do his will.
Those who have not heard the Gospel live in like manor not knowing any better, but once they have been taught or informed of the Gospel, our commission to preach the Gospel to ever creature, if they after hearing the word, reject, oppose, do not depart from iniquity or their youthful lusts then we are to turn away from them also
We are called to preach the Gospel not to convert people and force their acceptance.
To turn away from, in vs 3:5 GK apotrepo (ap-ot-om-o) to deflect, avoid — Turn Away.  For the believing Christian, standing firm on Christ , His Truth is turning away from all those who are opposed to Christ and His Truth.
This means we do not take part in, join in, condone, sanction, endorse, support, be tolerant of.  i.e. ( Its OK to live as you choose) opposed to (The life you have chosen to live is contrary to God).  We can still have contact as long as our position is from the standpoint of 2nd Timothy Chapter 2 vs 25: in humility correcting those who are in opposition.
Let me know if this helped or if we need to talk more on it.
I so enjoy the living Word which gives meaning and life,
and your hunger for the Truth.
